State the difference between the Standard Level and Basic Level of Mathematics in class X Board examination to be held in 2021?

The previous mathematics examination up to 2018 is of Standard level only. There the CBSE gives the syllabus and asks questions accordingly in respective board examinations. Now Basic Maths and Standard Maths in Board Examination 2021 has given choice to the student where they can choose Mathematics Standard level or Basic level. At the Mathematics Standard level, they ask questions of higher calculative value but in Mathematics Basic level they actually ask questions of lower calculative value. But the syllabus remains the same for both. Hence, therefore, the Mathematics Basic is of “low difficulty” than the Mathematics Standard.

Will this lead to dilution of Mathematics syllabus/teaching?
